Today is going to be so fantastic. Eric and I are visiting Mya in a little bit, then going from there to home to change into our New Years finery, then to dinner somewhere yet undecided, then to Noah’s for his little shindig, then back home for Amelie and just bein’. Excitement!

Last night while watching The Man Who Knew Too Much, Owen’s cat, Patches, really liked Eric’s lap and insisted on spreading herself out on top of him and purring in these strange little burps. A good feeling: Knowing that all Christmas-wrapping is done, and the people that I love have wonderful presents that I am anxious to exchange (Eric & Allison!). Laura is home, and we’ve been bakin’ up a storm and now making feta and spinach stuffed pretzels! I hope that I can be with Eric for at least a little while today…he is only a two minute drive away, but it seems like...
